the sentiment

friendship | philosophy | poems

lost in the sentiment
fertile mind a rocky climb
through silt and sediment
say what is meant to mend
for the time is evident
unwind the knotted weave
that causes you to grieve
to fall on bended knee
straining to be free
from hurt and pain
alone again it seems
if I a witness to your soul
maybe the only one
then keep me in your heart
and wear me like a shell.
