the very pebbles

a long way down he riseth up to shake
the very pebbles off the trees as hourly
rage the scourge of outrageous calamity into carnivorous solitude
as others wash their torrent tributes
to tell the little birds that twitter on leftover twigs the winter of
our paradise each splintered hope, the dream and picture promises a
promise land to keel the corrupt
exception to the rule of a world departed so sigh the guise in the
minds eye of the sky enchanted- your homeless brood
to seek the need of smoke as fire burns bright in the hopes and
hideouts in the thought of merriment
a crescent moon crying soul that
June withstands that which is withheld-
an aptitude for minuscule lapels the labels
on little yellow jackets buzzed and
stinging-
here me oh Lord let bringing
core climate to those who have gone before and of that most great the living-
we be heard of this before in
reflections of a mirror
no strokes the water spokes on
wheels to turn in rivers wake the
bush may burn for better wishes
do help me God so help us Sire-
I am not a liar
for Heavens sake
I am just under a sacred trust
to win the wars of togetherness
in solitary-confines the our-a picture
dangling words as carrots in a
portion of pleas plague a peace
inside the heart of need
happily sent and I am for the better of it if it is to be present a presence
to forgive an emptiness of powers
in the temple you are the simple
rain shower over the plain and
though thine would take the
pain from honest working men women children animals
in learning to let go the infamous
snow that kept cool timid prayer
for summers filled with care
may You love us
without despair
in heartfelt happiness
Your original love
to heal everything under the sun.

Amen.

regardful of the past

you were a million little girls
they dressed you up in cuffs and ribbons
an Arbor Day celebration
offered in a dilapidated treehouse

insightful sleek musician
regardful of the past
responsible decision
as marked by years of wisdom
consider all the witness
in the fitness of an hourglass

surely purely cure the vow
do not kill a baby chick
never eat a cow

cook the root vegetables
stewed fresh fruit in jars
mango is delectable
as is the sweetest peach
remote-all your prayer and preach

and if you need a meat
beans are firm and sweet
good hearts good hearts regards
I love you
for the older days
and happy is
a most unusual bond

first
important step
as romaine is a God
I’ll have you know
that the cigarette
is no more air to charm
for we are all one God
to find ones self most fond.

God peer back

pale sky the color of champ-ale
golden dragon pursue an ivory tail
that bodes as well for boats
to sail the coasts those embedded
ruby eyes the fire roars the angels sigh to dive into seas of clouds
not asking for a reason why the dawn
is quick to humble hearts as swells will drench our summer hides till
autumn-seabirds laugh take a bath
proud to call out loud their
fresh fish dinner catch-all is well into the
winter where souls
at the right hand of God peer back over the green-colored Earth
onward upward anointed
somewhere in summer it’s snowing
in the rose garden of my drawing.

rite

rite
all in a days night
the Romanesque march
by candlelight
a curious quest
as the sun goes down
in the west
rumor laid to rest
upon the heartless hills
we do our best
less is more our ills
yet never was the world as wild
since first I saw it as a child
beyond the rainbow sky of gold
the hand of God warm and old
trumpets announce His arrival
I paint it on paper archival
and pray to The Lord
to melt the heart of woe.
